Tom Liesegang (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Liesegang) is an American artist, who chose Portugal as his second base a few years ago. It was there, more concretely in Guarda, that Liesegang and Kayser were introduced by a common friend, the lawyer José Pereira de Melo.
Tom is also the co-founder of New Art Brut (https://newartbrut.com), an association of artists confronting injustice; societal, personal, racial, global, and environmental.
Why did Tom want a second home besides New York, how does he feel as a foreigner in Portugal, and what keeps him inspired on the Iberian Peninsula?
